Bubble
The circled letters come from Unicode's enclosed alphanumerics block, originally intended for numbered lists and diagram callouts in technical documents. Because each glyph carries its own circle, the text sits noticeably wider than normal, so short phrases work best. The filled variant is drawn from the enclosed alphanumeric supplement and renders as boxes on some older systems.
