Star Symbols — Copy and Paste
Stars are the second language of bios: ratings, dividers, sparkles, emphasis. This page separates the solid and outline stars (which render everywhere) from the decorative four-pointers (which render on modern devices and look far better).

Star symbols
★ and ☆ are the safest stars on the internet — they come from the same old character block as the card suits. The prettier ones like ✦, ✧ and ⋆ are dingbats and math operators: every current phone draws them, and they pair well because they sit at text height instead of floating like emoji. The sparkles emoji ✨ is included for contrast, but text stars almost always read more 'aesthetic' because they inherit your font size and color.

Frequently asked questions
- Which star is safest for a username?
- ★ or ☆. They are in the oldest symbol block and render on essentially every device still in use.
- Do stars work in Discord usernames?
- Discord display names accept all of these; legacy handles are restricted to plain characters.
- What is the difference between ✦ and ✧?
- ✦ is filled and ✧ is its outline twin — using them alternately gives the classic 'sparkle line' look.
