Fancy Text Generator
Fancy text is a catch-all for the decorative Unicode alphabets that don't fit a single label — outlined, doubled, curled and hand-drawn. This page puts the showiest ones first so you can compare them side by side.

Fancy
The outline style comes from the double-struck block used in mathematics for number sets, which is why it reads as hollow, poster-like lettering. The other decorative alphabets borrow characters from scripts such as Cherokee and Canadian Aboriginal syllabics that happen to resemble Latin letters. Support is broad, but the more exotic the block, the more likely an old device falls back to boxes.
Where people use it
- Profile headers that need visual weight
- Shop or brand names in marketplace listings
- Decorative dividers between sections of a long caption
- Nicknames in group chats
Frequently asked questions
- What makes a style 'fancy' rather than bold?
- Bold styles are typographic weights of the Latin alphabet; fancy styles borrow shapes from other Unicode blocks, so they look decorative rather than simply heavier.
- Are fancy letters safe in a password field?
- Avoid it. Many systems normalise or reject non-ASCII characters, and you may lock yourself out.
- Why does one style show boxes on my phone?
- Your system font has no glyph for that block. Pick a style built on more common ranges, such as bold, italic or small caps.
