The reason it survives pasting is that nothing here is formatting — there is no bold attribute to strip, only different characters. That is why a styled bio keeps its look after saving, while text copied from a word processor loses its formatting. Long-press to paste on mobile; some apps offer paste-as-plain-text, which works identically here.

Frequently asked questions
Copy does nothing on my browser — why?
Clipboard access needs a secure context and permission. If it fails, select the styled text on the card and copy it manually.
Does pasting strip the style?
No. Because the style is built from characters rather than formatting, there is nothing for the app to strip.
Can I copy several styles at once?
Copy them one at a time, or star your favourites so they stay pinned at the top for quick access.
